Forum on "Values of Homosexuality"

The Forum on “Values of Homosexuality” exclusively for public school teachers in Butuan City Division was held on October 30, 2017 at Multi-Function Hall, City Library, J. Rosales Ave., Butuan City. It was attended and actively participated by 35 teachers.
The activity was organized by Pure Love Network partnered with the City Library as the venue, DepEd-Butuan City Division providing the participants, and the City Health Office as resource speaker for the topic HIV and AIDS: the spectrum and updates. 
The invitation for the forum through the memorandum from the DepEd – Butuan City Division was successfully delivered to 56 public schools around Butuan City. Only 25 schools heeded the invitation.
The forum was started with an opening prayer then the acknowledgment of the participants, and then a message by the City Librarian, Ms. Jessica Clarito welcoming the participants was delivered. The forum proper was facilitated by Mr. Bonifacio Dumago, the advocacy director of Pure Love Network …

October 19, 2017. Attended the Anti-Human Trafficking and Anti-Child Pornography Seminar at Agusan Del Norte, Training Center, Capitol Ground, Butuan City.



PLN with NGA Employees

October 07, 2017 and October 13, 2017. Forum on “Values of Sexuality” was held with employees of National Government Agencies in Caraga Region at Multi-Funtion Room, City Library, J. Rosales Avenue, Butuan City.

PLN w/ Philippine Electronics & Communication Institute of Technology - NSTP Students

The continuation of the Forum on “Values of Sexuality” at Philippine Electronics & Communication Institute of Technology was held on September 30, 2017. The topic discussed is about homosexuality. It was started by a prayer then a review of the previous topics. The forum was very substantial especially with the presence of some homosexual students, some of them shared their experiences being a gay person and somehow the listening students gain more understanding and acceptance towards homosexuality.

September 23, 2017, the Forum on “Values of Sexuality” was conducted to NSTP Students of Father Saturnino Urios University held at FSUU AVR2, San Franciso St. Butuan City.

It was made possible through the approval of the Community Extension Services (CES) Director, and through the facilitation of NSTP Coordinator, Mrs. Juliet Torralba. 

Based from student’s impressions, the activity was enlightening, interesting, informative, and a life changing experienced.

September 23, 2017, the Forum on “Values of Sexuality” was conducted to NSTP Students of Caraga State University held at CSU Sanchez Gymnasium, Ampayon, Butuan City.

It was made possible through the approval of the NSTP Director, Dr. Nelia S. Raganas assisted by her staffs and NSTP Facilitators. 

Based from student’s impressions, the activity was fun, informative, and life changing experienced.

PLN w/ Former Youth Leaders

September 16, 2017, Pure Love Network held the Forum on “Values of Sexuality” with once youth leader in the Parishes of Sto. NiƱo Shrine and San Vicente Ferrer Parish of the Diocese of Butuan.

PLN w/ San Vicente National High School - GSP members.

San Vicente National High School, Butuan City invited Pure Love Network to share about dating and courtship to their Girl Scout of the Philippine Members. It was held on September 08, 2017 at their school grounds during their GSP Encampment.

During the event, the advocacy director explained to the students that dating is not for them, dating is only to those who were already mature & independent persons, who were already working and helping their parents. Since the participants were still high school students, courtship and relationship was shared to them.
